Can somebody cue me on this bunch of signals? X(
I found an interesting stuff from a friends, Eunice's blog!( I hope you dont mind!) But not sure how it can help me since my hair is thin and soft like baby *self praise is no praise >_<. I check out the link she shares and found lots of nice thing from the site like this.. leg/waist slimming tap that only cost RM3.9! how cheap!
and the one she introduced.. make your hair looks voluminous!
my hair was this thin back in my uni time. I remember the first time i was shocked to realize that i had a thin hair was after I curled my hair for the first time. The hair dresser said i need to thin my hair first else the curl wouldn’t be obvious and nice. So he hold his scissor and boorishly grab a bunch of my hair and start trimming them off like some psycho in terror move, even turned to my friends and said " see, I just simply cut..muahahaha!" which leave an indelible stain in my memory until now :( ....I suddenly feel a surge of relief to be an engineer and not a hair dresser as they seems to having lots of stress. Ever since then until I finally straighten my hair back again, my hair always looks this thin and everytime when i cut my hair in saloon, the hair dresser would look at my hair in sympathy as seem like I am bald. And of coz, I always protect with same reason that it is merely because I have baby hair. :'(
So there is one afternoon when my friend T dropped at my cube, i suddenly see a gleam of hope glowing from his head as he has more hair now! he used to have same problem as me but now they look thicker! Of coz I asked the secret from him and he told me it is all because of this!
Right at the lunch time, I swiftly went to Watson to buy and certainly shower was the first daily regime to do that day. The shampoo has a heavy sense of ginseng smell and generates lots of bubble when shampooing which instill more confident in me that this panacea should work a miracle on me too. But after trying out for couples of time, It didn’t help in controlling my hair fall, yet it becomes more serious and now the hair line parting become more obvious as seems like Im getting bald.:’(
Please share with me if you have any advice in controlling the hair fall!

Some background of the trip; it was a 2 days 1 night celebration trip for all the backend mainstream project folks who never get anything after slogging for so damn long and now rewarded with a trip that only includes the accommodation and transportation. And of coz, others who are not under the mainstream project had to be self funded. So the perception of Intel employee is rich totally untrue, partly yes for those in high rank but working kuli like us definitely nothing better than other company’s engineers.
Friday morning, fen picked me, venus and KM up at around 5 sth as the bus started at 6am and the journey to hatyai took around 3 hours. I discarded some of the journey detail probably because I dozed off most of the time.
Stopped by for the first round shopping.
Thanks ys for the ice-cream treat! the ice-cream is only rm2 but it is so nice especially when you are half withered under the hot scorching sun. Not to mention there is glutinous rice at the bottom of the cup.
As soon as we checked in to our Lee Garden Hotel, we swiftly took a bath and started the shopping spree. We had a total of 27 people joining the trip which only consist of 7 ladies engineers. So it is normal if we did the shopping together.
sigh..I missed this:(
The first destination was the market. Sigh sigh...Somehow it changes alot comparing to the last time i came here 4 years ago. Limited choices and some stuff like clothes are not trashy too as they literally priced up the stuff to Malaysia's standard. but not entirely true if you intend to purchase the local goods which are much cheaper.
Remember this shop as you can get a better price here than others.
After satisfied with all the booty, we went to try out the Lee Garden Hotel's buffet that situated at level 33 as it only costs ~ RM15 whilst most of our friends went to have some street foods which might cost even more. The restaurant provides a great variety of food and we can profusely had as much Thai mango as we can without paying RM2-3 to buy one. *calculative mode on*
Not to mention the breathtaking view at the restaurant where you can take in the whole hatyai's view.
One of the pick event of the night was the tiger( thai girl) show which i must admit that i was really excited to join though i couldn’t picture how extreme the show before experienced it myself but it was really an eye's opening. And nobody is allowed to reveal much detail and whoever does that must die! *blerrk*. But as shorten memory person like me, I doubt I would remember much detail after a few months and might end up telling people I never watched it before.
Whoever took this photo must seek for doctor advice as he had a serious hand shaking:S another good photo wasted! darn!
As the night was still young and everyone was partner-less, we decided for another midnight rendezvous which was clubbing. I couldn’t remember the last time i had clubbing as it happened so long ago that i always wish i could have friends who are willing to bring me there again but anyway, the long waited wish finally answered, You probably asked what is so fun about clubbing? The alcohol tasted sucks, the choking smokes, all those drunkies and etc..but i love when i could loosen up myself after a few cups and you danced like nobody business but still reserved some soberness in you. It is a game when you have chances to do things you want, carefree-ly but on the other side, you keep reminding yourself, up to here, nothing further. Tipsy but not drunk was the best feeling ever.
I guess this was the biggest clubbing group ever. We had 2 friends who tie knot on the coming December so that night was the bachelor night for them. One of my witty friends, Melv who came out with this impish idea of asking the soon-to-be-groom to put on a flashy applemint undies, went around and asked for 10 signatures from different girls in the club. So we maneuvered from tables to tables hunting for chick to sign on their black shirt. Besides from the awesome live performance by the performers, another plus about the thai's pub is they forbid people to smoke inside unlike the malaysia club where the smoke irritate your eyes.
One of the pretty thai girl came up to me and claimed that she worked in KL , then she asked for my number but i was chicken out and purposely gave her the wrong number. So lame. *guilty
Ok, that look just mean......do you have any boob?...*sad*
We bid the club adieu around 2 in the morning and I barely slept for wee hour as my stomach started to stir and i had to rush in and out the toilet. But luckily it turned better on the next morning.
The trip wouldn’t be this memorable if it was not with this bunch of friends. We were growing old and we couldnt party like how we used to be back in a few years ago. Furthermore, some of them didn’t party after our project celebration night 2 years ago and it was good to have such a reunion back again. Good things doesn’t have to happen always but at least promising to be a good and memorable one. This memory can definitely savors me for years:)
The complete group photo.

Meet my pretty friend~ik ying!
But she is one of the oldest pal whom I still keep in touch with, old as in more than 10 years. I never have childhood friends who grew up with me and went into same primary, secondary school and still connecting with each other..I knew lots of my friends have and I find that kind of friendship very very precious but i dont have. Why? because I moved alot. I remembered i kept changing school when I was little. And the oldest friend(since form 1) is my best friend brenda and some of the guys whom I still keep very close relationship with eventhough I transfered in form 3...anyway, this is my fate. None of my close pals will stay forever with me..that is me! :( (for example...my very good girlfriends gang in intel that left for good! but still keep in touch so fret not! they are still there for me:P)
So this ahngu..whom i knew since form 3 is working all the while in penang and only see her once in a blue moon but the thing is we always can talk like we see each other everyday, gap-less. I must say both of us are totally different character but we can be very bubbly when chuck together. Anyway, we went to "No eye deer" opposite tanjung bungah to have a nice dinner and chatted for ~3hours=.=
Her mutton...She smells so good, I mean ah ngu! I forgot to ask her what shower foam she uses.
my jumbo vienna..quite nice:)...and I am stink as I drove all the way from office :'(
Happy birthday ikying!

Early in the morning, (not that early actually, around 9am), me and kh suddenly becomes very health conscious that we decided to go Botanical garden to draw some fresh morning air. The poor guy was wearing his Nike sniker to jog because his sports shoes was busted in Chiang mai and now he lost his favorite sandal in good deed and has to wear my brother's oversized sandal ..But i wont buy him any sandal because i am very superstitious like that as old people said we cannot buy shoes for our partner because it literally will cause in break up. (God forgive me but I am really superstitious:( )
Today I am full of zest to make poh piah so we drive uptown to buy the ingredients, intended to give away to my brother's family and hf's family this time, we purposely buy more and for the rest, we reserved for the lunch and dinner. Actually this is a very healthy meal as most are comprised of various type of vege which helps the constipation victim like me( it had been 2 days without output and my tummy is bulged!).. no photo taken for the poh piah since I have blogged it before.
Late noon, we drove to BM to pass the pohpiah for my brother's family and routed over to see the progress of my new house construction...they finally moved out all the toilet bowls from my house! *BIG WET EYES T_T* Previously they stationed all the toilet bowl in my house like it is a toilet bowl storehouse.. but that consider luckier than other units as some of them even have poo on their floor: S Human poos and not aninal's =.=..After checking out my house, we drove to Raja uda which is just a stone throw away to buy the best “ham jim peng”..do you know “ham jim peng” in raja uda is so yummylicious? I am not a soybean drink fan but i love dipping the ham jim beng in soya drink because they taste just like they were fated for each other..
Check out my new hair color..the hair dresser said the color makes me fairer but i think it is tanner insteadT_____T and my upper arm!they look as tough as big tree trunk! T_______________T
Night time was the boys's night out in Apex cafe watching soccer match..Ever since i know how to enjoy 20 people(excluded 2 keeper) chasing after one ball on the pitch, i have lost the girlish charisma in me but of coz tonight i was not into the match as it is Arsenal - Tot match( i guess ah seng must be jumping up and down for the result in his living room now. ok..i know how it feels because i had been there last week) it is ok if most of you dont get it..haha.
* Thank God! the guys are not bald!*
I was in love with this wall painting. Sipping coffee in the old town, imagine! *Aesthetic mode stirs*
Tomorrow will wake up early for Sunday mass, pray for people we love and who remain in our memory.

I am slowly loosing all the pieces in me that i barely can hold them back together again. What is more cynical to see a new life that is born and also hearing appalled news that a close relative of mine had passed away within the same day? A new hope that blooms in a family and another hope had finally lit to its end?
What is the most blissful thing seeing the little baby cuddle in his mother arms, sometimes squirming uncomfortably and sleep peacefully with their angelic face? They said baby’s world is in black and white and only sensitive to lights, but little does he know when he finally see the colorful world and starts to love things that he see and touch, what's awaiting him will be cruelty and dismal? He might run into snag, fraught with suffocated expectation from parents and society, parents might not wish him to be only a healthy boy but also smart in studies, good in academic, strikes As and good pay… And by the end of the day, what left will only be soil and a puff of dust? I couldnt help but to feel sad for how helpless and vulnerable we are to control our lives..Life could be short but at least a promising happy journey...isnt it?
I receive the bad news from my mum when I was in the hair saloon and after I was done with the hairdo, me and kh saw a old man walked towards us with his feeble arms wrapped around his skinny body in the bleak night wind, I recognized him as I met him this afternoon by sheer chance when I was on my way to visit a friend's new born baby. The thing on him that caught my eyes was the green plastic bag that he tied on his left feet and another red plastic bag on the right. It was a heartrendingly painful sight and a rush of sympathy augmented in me...So when i met him again outside the saloon, barefooted this time, I swiftly urged kh to find some shoes that can give away to the old man, but we couldnt find any except a sandal of mine which totally unfit to his size and kh's favorite and the only sandal...With our sight following the lonely and shabby figure, we saw a family who has their car parked outside a restaurant and ready to dine in, suddenly ceased their step, the uncle deliberately waited for awhile for the old man to trudge passed him in his wobbly steps, open his wallet and plop some money into the wrinkle hand without any plead from him. Seeing the tenacity and sympathy in my eyes, kh drove forward, wind down his window and handed over his only sandal..for a moment, my nose tickled and a veil of thick mist shrouded my eyes...the thankfulness is beyond any words and for a second in my life, i am grateful for having this man who put my happiness above himself.
I am not sure if the old man is half-witted but i do believe he deserves a life like everyone of us. A sandal might only be a meager help from us, but it means a world to him. No matter where he wants to go, at least I know he could be safe without barefoot.

But those record of which and which that i didnt read book after secondary school or never finish reading a book were all now an history.;)
Finally! I finished a book after 2 months! and it is really a BIG thing! The satisfaction is ever more than finally drinking 8 cups of water per day! ( I never drink 8 cups before..NEVER!) but it is ok...I have some better achievement now! ha!*snob*
Here is the lucky one!..lucky as in i took a decade to finish reading a book and it definitely can sustain me for another decade before i finish the second one. T______T
Book can be addictful like movie but the difference is they make you look a tad smarter *wink*

But this is just the medium to channel the emotion and it harms me zilch at all. The fact that I was thinking all these was all started from a conversation with a friend, he pings me today and said why my blog sounded sad and I blurred for a second which in fact i never thought I sounded sad at all. Perhaps my emotion is as bad as my memories that they never stayed long enough to make me remember, but i must clarify that having a pensive thought doesn’t mean I am sad or down, and of coz giving an indelible impression that this blog is merely for grumbling is the last thing i want to do.
still......i am living in the most prosaic life ever! and i dont even have a shit to blog.
but kh was so good to assuage me that i dont have to write something special. Sometimes i can just ENLARGE something small and make it BIG. *touched*
does it work? Emm...anyway, I always feel indifference towards those trivial stuff happens in a day and thrash them away but how if I have 200 days in a years that everything is seemingly insignificant to me as i can foresee that my dreary life will just go on like that until i step one feet into my coffin and still feeling nothing special to blog about my death. Then i might probably can shoot myself die now since i am a human with no hobby and no interest. T_______T
Ok, i think I found one. *snob* Today i have 2 teammates who celebrated their birthday together with my manager whose birthday already passed for a week and i dont remember it anymore. To look like a good teammate, I together with the rest of my team member bought them lunch at double good that ended up my stomach was clenched after that as i gulped in too fast and everything seems tasteless to me including my favorite Indon curry prawn which initially planned to eat 3 but ended up 2:’( But the swelling pain subsided on evening miraculously and I craved for burger but it starts to pour drizzly which is still ok since no abdominal pain is good enough:). So together we went to buy the nicest burger ever in Penang town nearby Cititel hotel and started to find something to pass the time like choosing a name for ky's baby. I bet the baby is a gal though the gender is still left unknown as her baby is so witty to cover up her( i assume she is a girl again) private part when doctor trying to peep and snoop to see if she ( i assume again) is a girl or boy.
And finally we came out with a list of girls name like.......audrey( my sister name), olivia, cynthia, sylvia, sharon, shannon, carmen, michelle and hiouiop[ipoueijapdjda......
anyway..i am sure she would make a pretty little girl as everyone is anticipating for her coming even before she knows she is going to be born. Lucky girl isnt she?:)

Talk about the weeks I disappear from my blog. I was wading for days in a pool of request and supports and wilted in pressure cooker but i know works eventually can be done..sounds so nonchalant, right? They are only works but when it took away most of my times then that is a big deal. And when everything finally laid back a bit, there comes kh's birthday...me and brady was excitedly wanted to use the birthday as an excuse to go loosen ourself in pub, but guys acted like they have lived long enough for that and only wish to sit down and sip their fruit juice. SIGH! I still have 3 years to my 30 and we are definitely not old at all..right?swallowing a big lump in my throat, i suddenly appalled by the small alarming voice that nagged in me, am I the only one who is so oblivious to the fact that 27 means old?
I wonder why am I always like the 6th finger who is so left out and disjointed from the reality?

I read a friend’s blog today on how she get drunk on her birthday( in case you were reading this, please don’t mind!) and so I dropped her a comment which sound like everyone has their very personal and gauche moments on getting drunk on their birthday party, I was not attempting to comfort her but simply because it happened on me before. I lied prone on my bed after close up the firefox tab and hibernated my pc. My body is exhausted but my mind had myriad of pensive thoughts whirling around.. I toss and turn for 5-10 minutes before I sat up and put my laptop into alive again. I know this is going to be a sleepless night but as a matter of ironical fact, I missed the birthday party I had 4 years ago. Something close to the friend’s broken heart, birthday party, drunk and felt extremely embarrassed on the next days after bungled up my party and made a total fool on my birthday eve. But now when I reminiscing back the time, I was swamped by lots of nostalgic detail and missing so dearly and deadly on all the faces who witness the first day of my 24th. Where were them now? Some left and mostly saunter a new life, which is good. Good thing doesn’t fall on you everyday like lottery, and you were lucky if it happened on you, even if it only happens ONCE.
Playing in my head is “is it over now” from Tanya.
I was 23 going to 24 that year when I joined Intel, like most of the fresh graduated trainee coming from various Universities, we were all young, feisty and had infinite energy to exert wantonly, and didn’t see life coming to us with a bundle of pitfall. A week before my birthtday, CM, one of my jimui took up the responsibility as the organizer and planned to throw me an unforgettable birthday party at KL.
On that Saturday, around 15 of us in 3 cars drove down to KL and upon checking into the hotel, we swiftly dolling up in our best outfit and headed off to a pub near bukit bintang. The first club wasn’t fun at all as the music played were in super slow mantra so we adjoined to another club called thai beach club and the band was really good. After throwing in a few cups, we started to loosen up and couldn’t resist but to join the crazy crowd, the live band was playing “its my life” enliven the whole dance floor and everyone is swinging and throwing their hand to the air, enjoying every bits of moment of jumping, shouting and dancing together…and I was happy. But I missed somebody. I never had my birthday without him before ( not counting the years when I was still on my diapers or with my parents oppressive supervision..even one fly also will die in 3 feet distance -_-|||) So in short, that was the first year he didn’t celebrate with me. Sometimes the loneliness will become more intense and apparent when we were in a crowd with all the faces but none of them was the one you wanted to see.
And by 12, I received his message “ happy birthday jia”, My nose started to tickle under the sweaty heat in pub but I hold on..I smile and laughed, hugged and kissed my friends for they were thoughtful to be there for me on that day. Suddenly Kian kok came to me and pull me out from the crowd..and there in front of me, I saw my buddy daniel in a banquet of roses. Daniel lied to me that his grandfather was admitted to the hostpital and he couldn’t make it to KL with us and it thwarted me a bit as I thought as a buddy he should be there for me on my day. I was really touched to see him as I knew he must have had a bumpy journey bussing from penang to KL where as we were comfortably sit in car, but then I started to cry…I started to cry so badly that i perched on the couch with KK pulled a seat beside me and saying lots of words to comfort me though I couldn’t recall any single wise words he said -_-, I just coulnt stop myself from crying and repeatedly playing the voicemail that I kept for a year-_-..And for a moment, I stopped and laughed…and throwing in a few cups and started to cry again..everything was vague to me but I could hear a lot of people trying to comfort me but like before, I couldn’t remember a thing. I vaguely knowing that a few girls hugged and patted on my back and wipe off my tears…but I couldn’t remember much as my eyes was swollen and I started to puke. I totally lost that piece of memories but I remember somebody come up to me and tell me he loves me..lol! confession to a drunk people is simply brilliant as they probably forgot on the next day but too bad, I forgot everything but THAT, pathetically it engraved in my mind.
On my way back to penang from KL, I stared out to the green sight along the roadside and made the pledge that, it is time to let him go, so I press delete on the only voicemail. 2 months after my birthday party, I met a guy and crazily fell in love like before again but it seemingly a betray to some of them perhaps I needed to tell them I wanted to open my heart again as they saw me crying badly at first..….but miracle happens sometimes when you love in the next moment doesn’t mean you never love before. And both loves are real but they just make you felt differently that is all.
Although until today I wish I never meet that second guy before, I die die crossed my heart but in second thought…I should still thank him, without him, I wouldn’t be the one I am today, Stronger and tougher.
In retrospect to the old memories, I was really blessed and still feeling so blessed now with all the faces who wanted to make me happy albeit I wasn’t a really good and ideal friends to everyone after then since I wasn’t a social butterfly after all-______-. But that piece of short clip of memories etched firmly in my memories.
A good 24 indeed with laughter and tears, nothing could be better:)

New york style bagel with athlantic Salmon served with cream cheese and horseradish that irritates the taste buds, as the food is pricy so I dont order any drinks but Shangri-la is very kind to give a free nicely squashed grape juice.

Woke up this morning with drowsy eyes rushing to Dental surgery clinic nearby Greenlane to fill up a few holes on my teeth. The process was too brisk that you didn't have time to feel the pain, but i was very nervous and kept reminding the poor dentist to be gentle. As the bill had exceeded intel subsidy thus i only manage to patch 3 holes and skip washing my teeth this time.
Then kh fetched me to market to buy the japanese dumpling ingredient aka gyoza for our dinner today. The ingredient is quite cheap and the process is easy peasy, but it is pricy if you buy from outside.
The pleat is not nice though..but well, this is my first trial =3= (*lame excuse)
dipped it with the gyoza sauce.
Honestly i am quite satisfied with my first time gyoza making which I always thought it would be tedious to make myself but surprisingly it is cheap and easy compare to the chinese dumpling where I should learn from my mum as my parents's home make dumpling was incredibly tasty. sigh...how i miss home today(*emo)
Here are the ingredients that i used though i skip a few like cabbage, onion and garlic.
Gyoza filling Ingredient:
1. RM3 minced meat
2. gyoza skin from jusco-RM1.6
3. grated ginger
5. 1 tsp sugar
6. 1 pinch of salt and pepper
7. 2 tsp soysauce
8. 1 tsp flour
9. 1 tsp sesame oil
10. 1/2 vinegar
1. Sliced ginger
1. egg white
2. chicken stock
1. Mingle all the gyoza filling in a bowl and mix them well.
2.Put the filling on the gyoza skin and spread the egg white at the edge of the skin to seal it
3. Wrapped and fold the edge slowly.
4. Spread some oil on the pan and heat it
5. place the gyoza on the pan
6. Pour the hot water onto chicken stock and stir them well
7. Throw the chicken stock soup into the heating pan
( The water should cover half of the gyoza height )
8. Cover the pan and turn to mid fire until the water vaporized.
9. sprinkle the sesame oil on the gyoza and pan
10. Let it fry until the botton turn brownish and serve.
I used to think it is the most prosaic or pedestrian kind of life to work round the clock, Especially if I had to incessantly rushing to meet the deadline for weeks, sulking of how colorless/dull/mundane/monotonous(whatever that you can call it) my life could be but i didnt plot nuggets of complaints this time. Since when i start to enjoy this seemingly hackneyed flow of life? wake up, off to work, come back after dusk, open laptop..work again. It would be fun to party over night or having drama marathon and watch like nobody business.. But somehow the idea of hangover on the next day or the drama addiction makes you oblivious over things arent that endearing at all. Despite musing with the question should i spend my weekend on work or spending quality time on things i cant do on weekdays (like blogging) , I think i do like what i am doing right now. And I gradually want myself to fit into it. It isnt that i only love when things are far from hurdle, though it partially true. But the element that shove me out from anxiety is, i start believing the miracle does happen on a irreversibly bad luck person like me. I never doubt my luck, which never close to good and i could spend a few days to list them out. But recently my friend who claims that good luck never sided him, like me, started to work with me and it turns out that we both can miraculously generate some chemistry effect and obtain what we want seamlessly, so perhaps the theory of negative + negative = positive does apply on us.:p
I looked out to a vast city view from my balcony and astonished by how dazzling the lights from each tenement and houses are. There are just too many things in this world that could happen tonight..even if you are staying in such a big city and having an extensive people connection..by the end of the day, you still have to go back to where you belong and feeling lonely. And when this thought harboured me,i wish i could appreciate more of what i had right now, at least i am not feeling a single bit of loneliness, at least there is another sound nearby, at least i have more things than i could ever imagine though i often treat them with indifference...at least in life without works involve, I dont need another person to make my luck "positive".

21st Sept . Sunny
Today is the first day I flew to Bangkok, which is also my first trip to Bangkok. I wonder how the city looks like though i'd pictured it in my mind for thousands times. I took the evening flight, found my seat by the window side and bid adieu to the Penang airport. What was waiting me at the city that totally strange to me? I saw a girl who sat at the same row as me kept writing something on her notebook, perhaps a diary? at least we did share a common interest.
On the way flying to Bangkok, the stewardess was distributing the arrival card and I was panicking to realize that I haven’t got mine( of coz i didn’t show how clumsy I was) so i asked the "diary" girl if she got an extra card, she shake her head but was kind to help me grab one from the stewardess as I was sitting far from aisle. Then, I started to chat nonchalantly with her. Knowing that she was an exchanged student from Hong Kong and currently studied in USM until Dec, I was amazed of how courageous the teenager today compare to my years last time. I remembered I hardly could join any trip with my friends because of my strict family rule which lead to little exposure on me nowadays.
The meeting with this little girl by chance today totally changed my perception on HK people except they are still those who is aspiring and yearning for improvement, but they wasn’t that aloof like how the hearsay :). After we separated at the airport, i somehow regretted that I shouldn’t be shy to take a photo with her , at least our fate did cross on that short journey.
Bangkok surprising looks like another KL city albeit in a bigger size. The traffic jam was terrible but there was no jaywalking from the pedestrian or queue cutting which make the traffic worst, in fact you can easily find lots of overhead walkway every kilometer in the city. Obviously, Thai people does cultivate a better road courtesy than Malaysian, at least you wouldn’t hear sequel honing or annoying swear from the bus drivers. After settling my luggage at the HI-sukhumvit which was a stone throw away distance from Thong Lo Sky train station , me and kh hunting for the local delicacy at the nearby stall.
Stewed Pork rice. Seemingly the most common street food in Bangkok. Cheap and filling
Then took the skytrain to Chid Lon station which is a populous station with most of the shopping mall assembling nearby.
This was taken in front of CentralWorld. It was a very beautiful golden buddha effigy.
However, we didn’t linger our foot longer but instead sauntered for 20 minutes to Baiyoke sky2 hotel to capture the night view of Bangkok city. I heard about the breathtaking night view in HK but never once in Bangkok before so i didnt prepare the tripod. The entrance fee was rm25( 250 baht) including a cocktail at their lounge bar which was considering a very great deal. Standing at the viewing tower which was also the 87 floor of the Hotel, the night wind was surprising warmth and I didn’t feel the coldness at all in my sleeveless shirt.
The sickening wind mussed up my hair...
But the lounge bar temperature did make me shivering to the core. After spending an hour at the lounge bar, we headed back to catch the skytrain.
The journey seem to be shorter compare to the time when I came, probably my heart was full and contented by my first day event.
22 Sept. Rainny day
I finally see this board clearer in the morning.
I guess i can only remember this day as a whole day shopping day. After meeting with the rest of the friends who arrived from Chiangmai this morning, me and kh separated with them to start our shopping mission. We reached at platinum shopping mall as it was known as the mall where you can get a very nice and cheap stuff. Which is true. I was totally loose control and dazzled when I saw all the nice clothes hanging in the 1000++ shops. But my money was too little to get them all so I have to picked very gingerly, after maneuvered and hovered from shop to shop, skimming through the colorful and trendy clothes, i managed to pick some for my family and of coz myself too without feeling remorse at all. There was lots of similar clothes that i saw in queensbay before which selling like rm70-rm80 but in Thailand, you could get it at RM20 from wholesale price. Besides that, you can see plenty of Malaysian shoved the clothes into a few extremely big bags and selling them off later at a much higher price in Malaysia.
By sheer chance, we tried on this donut in Mister donut and it was so damn good!!! the ice Chocolate tasted the best ever!
After 5 hours in platinum, we crossed over to another side of road where you can find a big market named Pratunam which was selling stuff in a cheaper price than Platinum shopping mall. The only impression I had for this market was only its gargantum size and you easily lost in it.

The downpour started to drop on our head when we headed our way to take the skytrain. hence we dashed into the CentralWorld Mall to shun the pour and spent a little time walking in this luxury shopping mall. When the rain finally stopped, we adjourned to biggest Night bazaar at Lumphini. To my amazed, this night bazaar is a heaven! Toss away the batu feringgi or chow kit street please..they totally cannot fight!
You cant imagine how big the bazaar is, it literally can make you crawl out from it with the empty pocket. I was miserably down as my money was running out fast and I needed to keep some for the rest of my trip, so i had to control myself from spending profusely though there were lots of nice shoes, accessories, clothes and the list goes on that I was dying to buy. :( . And you can only imagine all the if-only which made you felt more dejected and in sulk... If only i can die in the pool of all the beautiful clothes and shoes then i would be in heaven! :'(
My leg was nearly disjoint from my body when i reached hostel. Clock ticking..and another day had gone.
23rd Sept Burning Sun
I woke up at 5am in dawn when the sky outside was still coating in its inky dark. I fumbled to the bathroom and got myself ready for the floating market. The van will be arriving anytime soon and we couldn’t afford to loose our free breakfast provided by the hostel. The sun was up high when we finally hopping into the old van and started the journey. The journey wasn’t that comfortable as the van was picking up other passengers who staying in other hotel and some of them had to pitifully squeeze and sandwiched themselves in the van with no tinted window at all which leads the sun beam streaming in directly and heating up the car. It was a scorching day though I wish it didnt rain like yesterday but at least not with this intense heat too. The journey took around 2 hours which charged us RM60 for the round trip.

Upon reaching the floating market( which was way below my expectation), I was stupidly paid Rm15 again for the boat tour which I felt nothing but wilted under the burning sun that i have to squint my eye throughout the 15 minutes tour. which for sure would be my last floating market trip ever.
Then i met this beautiful tourist which i am sure she is a model. She was so tall and stunningly pretty that i felt so small beside her.
Actually she asked a local old man to take a photo for her but the photo was totally blur off so i offered my help, then ended up both of us busying taking each other photo. I always am somebody who flinch from stranger especially foreigner but I guess i did try to change myself now.
On the way back to town...we stopped at the Royal Thai Handicraft center where you can find some handcrafted stuff there, nothing whimsical or eye catching as I have seen a greater work in Bali before.. but still good enough for photo taking.
visited the four faces Buddha temple under the burning sun was apparently torturing..
Loafing at MBK for awhile..
Ordinary, I would be ecstatic by the shopping plan but with the empty pocket and weariness that breaking me slowly?? The walk wasn’t close to fun..:(
if you ever been to Bangkok and wanted to try the nightlife there, Patpong is a place where you shouldnt miss. Named anything you wanted to see and you can easily get there, "ah gua" show, "gay" show, " pingpong" show, pole dancing and etc.....
But honestly the place made me squirming uncomfortably although with 4 big guys beside me. We didn’t go in any of the club but still manage to catch the sight of bikini wear pole dancer by passing the clubs. besides that, you can find lots of prostitute lined up on the street overtly "pulling" customer..but with the unknown identity of coz. I wonder what makes them stoop to such profession under the prod of consciences?
After hovering at the street for less than hour, we took the sky train that never fail with its sweaty horde of passenger pressing each other, went back to our hotel to recuperate our energy before going back tomolo.
Frankly, the trip was too short to remember it vividly after a few years..but for sure, I would come back here anytime soon.

Weekend is always eye blinkingly short and too precious to use it unbridly but definitely not for this week, where I finally can spend my days to my heart's content!!!
Staying up late boiling movie and wake up when the scorching noon sun hanging high, and not feeling guilty at all, it is a heavenly sin:p But frittering away weekend watching series? I have considered ceasing now before more times are wasted on movies. The truth is Little nyonya series is toooooooo long and moving so slowwwwwww started to make me feel like skipping a few episode or maybe just watch the last episode.. since it gain me nothing but heart attack too, I really don’t understand why after all the ill treatment and brutality, nyonya and her grandma never plan a runaway since they were totally unwelcoming, I can boldly say that any place, ANY place also can offer them a better environment than slaving in that inhumanity family.. at least treated like a servant by others than like a trash by owns family :S but they stay on! WHY??? What is that reason for the silly tenacity??*grumpy
Luckily yesterday's still consider a harvest day as my cousin and her friends decided to spend their Raya holiday in Penang and binged into my house, pulling a few nights here. By coincidently, my sister in law dropped by my house to return the container so we decided to have a girls shopping spree at QB. My sister in law was planning to buy a decent dress for the wedding and cousin was hunting for OL outfit, i was so close yielded to temptation of spending but Bangkok trip is coming soon and I am very sure my wallet will be at stake in Bangkok, so really couldn’t afford to spend much nowT______T. But having to shop in empty handed makes me happy too :) The jokes and titter was entertaining enough, sometimes it doesn’t need gossip for bonding though i must admit that it is easier, at least for girls. I don’t like gossip on people simply because I don’t like to be gossiped as well so to be fair, try to stay far away from unnecessary gossip unless with my clique.
I just realized that if i don’t work as engineer i can be a good promoter too:D after shopping for 3 hours, They were both in bumper crops of clothes, shoes and beauty product, but of coz in a ruefully state. :(:(..Then we had our dinner at hot and roll for Paratha. I couldn’t believe I keep psycho-ing people eating Paratha with me since most of the girls when you asked them "what do you want to eat?", you probably will get a common answer like "cincai la". I was like that years ago until i met a guy whom always gives me such answer then I started to get wearily and avoid doing the same too :p
The hp quality is s**k!! this is the hot and roll cheese and chicken paratha. I only tried this for all my visiting to this stall ^_^
and of coz us..
another camwhoring pic..my hp s**k! see the uneven color???sigh..I should bring along my camera next time. Heaven knows this is such a memorable photo as 3 of us were rarely hanging out together! Trust me! it is either me with my cousin or in law with me...but rarely too since everybody is so occupied with their lives *:(
